This class is an early introduction to dance and creative movement. Our main focus is on helping the dancers to gain control of their wee bodies while exploring their own creativity. Being our smallest dancers, we aim to build their confidence while learning to take instruction and of course dance technique.

We use familiar routines and music to help the children feel comfortable, and often use props to help motivate them. As with all our levels, parents are invited to participate alongside their child when needed, to encourage them and we love watching these dancers come out of their shell and grow in confidence.

This class runs for 20 minutes.

This is designed to not only give children an excellent foundation for dance, but to also aid their natural physical and cognitive development and prepare them for school. You are welcome to attend a trial lesson, where there is availability, and you can start our classes at any time, even if it’s the last week of the year, so call or Register today!

Please Note: Fees and timetable are subject to change at any time. Fees are GST inclusive and on a pay per term basis coinciding with the NZ primary school term which generally consists of around 10 weeks (public holidays are observed and discounted from term fees). Term fees are adjusted based on the amount of weeks per term i.e. reduced for 9 week terms or increased for 11 week terms. Enrolments are compulsory.
