Pitter Patter Dance Ltd offer fabulous dance-based movement and fitness classes that empower children and allow them to learn creatively at their own pace, in a fun and familiar environment. We have a solid reputation for nurturing and professional classes with an emphasis on FUN. Combining enthusiastic instructors, exciting props and motivating music, your tamariki will learn that their ideas are valued, as they gain confidence and control of their wee bodies. You can learn how we can benefit your centre and tamariki in our Frequently Asked Questions.
Our classes appeal to parents who are often too busy to attend one of our recreational classes and this supports an increase in enrolments for centres. We help with promotional material, and all regularly booked centres are given the opportunity to perform in our recitals held in April and September which are not only a lot of fun, but a continuation of building children’s confidence and it gives parents a chance to see what their wee dancers have been learning too!
Pitter Patter believe in the holistic principles of Te Whariki and draw from the strands of contribution, belonging, exploration and communication. We also believe in inclusive practice and provide a supportive environment where there are equal opportunities for learning, irrespective of gender, ability, age, ethnicity or background. All of our lesson plans are designed to incorporate the principals and strands of the curriculum and you can view more info on some of our most popular lesson plans below…
